Matt Fitzsimons with Larry Levinson Productions discovered the western feature “Shadow on the Mesa” on InkTip and optioned it from Lee Martin. And we’re proud to announce that the feature film went into production last week with Kevin Sorbo starring. Lee Martin has had dozens of novels published over the years, a bunch of options through InkTip, and the option on this script had to be renewed more than once as the producers put it together, but persistence pays off as Lee’s resume now boasts a produced feature film!

Matt Fitzsimons entdeckte zusammen mit Larry Levinson Productions den Western “Shadow on the Mesa” auf InkTip und erwarb eine Option darauf von Lee Martin. Und wir sind stolz ankündigen zu können, dass der Film letzte Woche in Produktion ging, mit Kevin Sorbo in der Hauptrolle. Lee Marvin hat über die Jahre dutzende Romane veröffentlicht, einen Haufen Optionen durch InkTip, und die Option auf dieses Skript musste mehrmals erneuert werden, während die Produzenten es zusammenstellten, aber Beharrlichkeit zahlt sich aus, da sich Lees Lebenslauf nun eines produzierten Spielfilms rühmen kann.

Some actors like to sit in solitude to memorize their lines, but not Kevin Sorbo. This actor likes to add a bit of adventure to the process by taking his scripts to the golf course with him. There he's able to learn his lines and enjoy one of his favorite pastimes! Don't let him fool you though. He's involved in a lot more than acting and golf!

Tons of celebrities have started their own charities, but I don't think many can say they've been around and successful for well over a decade. StarCam's Jennifer Tapiero got the scoop from Kevin on his charity, World Fit For Kids.

"Well, it's been my charity for 15 years, so we have the number one after school program in the state of California, which I've got to brag about," he said. "We work with over 12,000 kids. L.A. has a 54 percent dropout rate. We have a 98 percent graduation rate, so we’re doing something right."

„Nun, das ist seit 15 Jahren meine Wohltätigkeitsgesellschaft, und wir haben das beste Nach-der-Schule-Programm im Staat Kalifornien, womit ich angeben muss,“ sagte er. „Wir arbeiten mit über 12 000 Kindern. L.A. hat eine Schulabbrecherquote von 54 Prozent. Wir haben eine Schulabschlussquote von 98 Prozent, also müssen wir etwas richtig machen.“

World Fit For Kids will be holding a golf tournament this October to raise money and awareness. If you're interested in getting more information about the organization and/or the tourney, head to WorldFitForKids.org.
